On 14 February 2023 9:00 at ul.amu.edu.pl the token registration for foreign language courses for students of first and second year full-time BA and long-cycle MA programmes will open, and will remain open until 5 March 2023 23:59.
The token registration will open at the following hours:
Faculty of English – 9:00
Faculty of Biology – 9:30
Faculty of Chemistry – 10:00
Faculty of Polish and Classical Philology – 10:30
Faculty of Physics – 11:00
Faculty of History, Faculty of Archaeology, Faculty of Arts Studies – 11:30
Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science – 12:00
Faculty of Geographic and Geological Sciences, Faculty of Human Geography and Planning – 12:30
Faculty of Political Science and Journalism – 13:00
Faculty of Anthropology and Cultural Studies, Faculty of Philosophy, Faculty of Psychology and Cognitive Science, Faculty of Sociology – 13:30
Faculty of Law and Administration – 14:00
Faculty of Educational Studies – 14:30
Faculty of Theology – 15:00
Faculty of Modern Languages and Literatures – 15:30
The dates of classes will be available at ul.amu.edu.pl no later than on 13 February 2023.
First year students receive the registration token for the appropriate group on the basis of the placement test results. Students who do not take the placement test will not receive the registration token.
Second year students (with the exception of the Faculty of English and the Faculty of Modern Languages and Literatures) receive a token in accordance with the following:
– students who completed the foreign language course in the 2022/2023 winter semester at B1 level shall receive the registration token for the B21 level course in the 2022/2023 summer semester
– students who completed the foreign language course in the 2022/2023 winter semester at B21 level shall receive the registration token for the B22 level course in the 2022/2023 summer semester
– students who completed the foreign language course in the 2022/2023 winter semester at B22 level have completed the foreign language course and shall receive the registration token for the Language Proficiency Exam.
The tokens are awarded only to students with a passing grade for the winter semester in USOS.
EXCEPTIONS: Second year students of programmes with double credit hours:
Psychology programme – the tokens are not awarded. The foreign language course for these programmes has been completed in the 2022/2023 winter semester, and the foreign language for special purposes course will be available in the summer semester. Students who completed the foreign language course at B2.2 level shall receive the registration token for a foreign language for special purposes course.
Second year students of the Faculty of English, Faculty of Modern Languages and Literatures (German Philology programme)*, Law and Economy programme, and European Union Law programme receive the registration token in accordance with the following:
– students who completed the foreign language course in the 2022/2023 winter semester at A0 level shall receive the registration token for the A0 level course in the 2022/2023 summer semester
– students who completed the foreign language course in the 2022/2023 winter semester at A1 level shall receive the registration token for the A1 level course in the 2022/2023 summer semester
– students who completed the foreign language course in the 2022/2023 winter semester at A2 level shall receive the registration token for the A2 level course in the 2022/2023 summer semester
– students who completed the foreign language course in the 2022/2023 winter semester at B1 level shall receive the registration token for the B1 level course in the 2022/2023 summer semester
– students who completed the foreign language course in the 2022/2023 winter semester at B21 level shall receive the registration token for the B21 level course in the 2022/2023 summer semester.
The tokens are awarded only to students with a passing grade for the winter semester in USOS.
NOTE:
Students who DO NOT REGISTER for the foreign language course during the registration period at ul.amu.edu.pl must submit the Application for enrolling in a language group to the AMU Foreign Language Teaching Centre’s Office (a list of Coordinators for each Faculty is provided below). On the basis of the submitted application, the Coordinator will assign the student to a language group WITH REMAINING SLOTS!
