Additional Foreign Language Courses – Free Tokens

studenci 1

The AMU Foreign Language Teaching Centre offers additional foreign language courses within the framework of unused free tokens. This applies to full-time first-cycle (Bachelor’s) and long-cycle Master’s students who:

  • did not use all four tokens allocated for the compulsory language course (completed the B2.2 level with a passing grade in USOS), or
  • were exempted from language courses on the basis of an external certificate.

Token allocation scheme:

  • Student who started at A2 → used 4 tokens → no free tokens remain.
  • Student who started at B1 → used 3 tokens → 1 free token available for registration.
  • Student who started at B2.1 → used 2 tokens → 2 free tokens available.
  • Student who started at B2.2 → used 1 token → 3 free tokens available.
  • Students exempted from language courses in the 1st year on the basis of an external certificate → 4 free tokens available.
  • Students exempted after the 1st year → tokens are assigned manually by the AMU Foreign Language Teaching Centre coordinator, depending on the individual student’s situation.
