The AMU Foreign Language Teaching Centre informs students that two dates have been scheduled for the B2 Modern Foreign Language Certification Examination during the 2025/2026 summer examination session:
25 June 2026 (Thursday), 10:00–11:30
Registration using examination tokens for this examination date will open on 15 June 2026 (Monday) at 9:00 a.m. and will remain open until 23 June 2026 (Tuesday) at 11:59 p.m.
8 September 2026 (Tuesday), 10:00–11:30 (resit examination date)
Registration using examination tokens for this examination date will open on 2 September 2026 (Wednesday) at 9:00 a.m. and will remain open until 6 September 2026 (Sunday) at 11:59 p.m.
Registration will take place through the USOSweb system at usosweb.amu.edu.pl. After logging in to USOSweb, select the FOR STUDENTS tab from the top menu and then choose TOKEN REGISTRATIONS from the menu on the left.
When registering for the examination, please pay attention to the examination venue assigned to students from individual faculties. The system will not allow registration for groups other than those designated for your faculty.
Students are required to check, on the day following registration, whether their assigned examination token has been used and whether a course entitled “Foreign Language Certification Examination” has appeared on the list of courses taken during the current semester in USOS. This constitutes confirmation of successful registration. If the course does not appear, students should repeat the registration process.
Students should arrive approximately 30 minutes before the start of the examination and must bring a valid identity document and their student ID card.
IMPORTANT: Students who fail to complete registration using examination tokens within the registration period specified by the AMU Foreign Language Teaching Centre will not be permitted to take the examination on that date.
Students who do not intend to take the examination on 25 June 2026 (Thursday) should not register during the period 15–23 June 2026. A separate registration period will be opened for the resit examination date.
The examination is intended for students enrolled in full-time Bachelor's degree programmes and long-cycle Master's degree programmes who have successfully completed a modern foreign language course at B2.2 level, or at B2.1 level in the case of programmes with a double number of teaching hours (60 hours per semester), i.e. Psychology.
A prerequisite for registration for the certification examination is the successful completion of the B2.2 foreign language course (a passing grade entered into the USOS system). Students who complete the language course after 15 June 2026 will also receive examination tokens during the registration period, usually within two days of the instructor entering the grade into the system.
IMPORTANT: Students who have been granted a conditional pass in the course or who are repeating the course “Foreign Language Certification Examination in …” and have not received an examination token are required to contact the AMU Foreign Language Teaching Centre in order to obtain another token. Examination tokens are not assigned automatically.
